Aerial Painting was created by The Underground Circus and Byninon in 2011, and has been featured at many events.

Ninon completed the course in visual arts at the Milan Art Institute and recently received Exhibition Status from the Federation of Canadian Artists. With more than 20 years experience in circus and performance, she decided to further develop one of The Underground Circus’s original ideas, aerial painting, as a way to begin another performance career as Byninon aerial painting.

An Aerial painting will take an one hour performance to complete. Ninon will be suspended in a harness in front of the canvas, and paints upside down, sideways, whatever position required, always in precarious balance.

Price will include rigging from venue points, or the rental of one of our aerial towers, plus a qualified rigging technician, cost of the art supply and the final painting which can be auctioned off in a fundraiser situation.

After the subject of the painting is decided on by both parties, Ninon will need two weeks prior to the event to practice and prepare.

If there are appropriate rigging points at the venue, the system can be rigged directly from the ceiling

Peter Boulanger is the technical director at the Underground Circus, he designed and build the aerial towers. Here are the spec and looks of those towers. It consists of 2 different size of the crescent towers, and one 23 feet tower.
