Exhibiting Membership

To obtain this from the Federation of Canadian Artists, at least seven out of my ten submitted paintings needed to be chosen from among hundreds of submissions from artists across Canada. The submissions are anonymous to ensure impartial judging. I chose the paintings from my portfolio created at the Milan Art Institute program. I am extremely proud of this accomplishment.

Certificate of Completion

This certificate is awarded in recognition of the successful completion of Milan Art Institute’s Mastery Program. With dedication and creativity, you have completed this transformative journey, and we celebrate your achievement as an artist!

Special Achievement Award for Fabric Innovation

I received this award because of the innovative way I incorporated materials into my work. For example, Slinkys wrapped with wool, and wooden accents woven into fabric. At Blanche McDonald , our final assignment was to produce three of our twenty looks for the runway show “Neon Dreams” at the Fairmount hotel Vancouver.

Cirque du Soleil

My first professional show was with Cirque du Soleil in 1989-1990 we did the North American tour and their first European tour.

Winner of a publicity contest, at age 12

At 12 years old I won first price for a city wide context “Toi aussi soi prudent” (You too be Safe) in Rouyn Noranda, Quebec, Canada. I had decided that I didn’t want to enter, but my teacher encouraged me, and gave me the weekend to finish and submit. And it won!

My niche exists at the intersection of spiritual awakening and creative expression, through storytelling, and visual symbolism, creating for those who view art as more than decoration, but as a catalyst for transformation and expanded consciousness.
